More about Oasis Café:

For 25 years, Oasis Café has been a gathering place in the Mount Pleasant area, where neighbours come together to share more than just a meal—they share a sense of community. Much like the breaking of bread in the Eucharist, our practice of sharing a meal fosters relationships among people from all sorts of different backgrounds.

At Tenth Church, we believe that sharing food is not merely about providing physical sustenance; it’s an act of worship. God calls us to love our neighbours, and one powerful way to do that is by helping those in need with food. Providing food in community with others is a way to express our need for the spiritual. Jesus calls himself the "Bread of Life" and sharing food is a sign of, and a way towards, connecting with Him.
