Welcome to East Van
Tenth East Van is a multi-generational site with many young families and a bustling kids and youth ministry. You’ll meet newcomers to Canada and those involved in supporting them. This community is a place where you can be known and know others.
What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8
Join Us on Sundays
Our Sunday gatherings are designed to be casual and relational. As a result, one of our best challenges on a Sunday is balancing connecting/chatting with one another with being still and worshipping. You’ll often hear our pastors encouraging everyone to continue their conversations after the service over lunch or a coffee. Connection and conversation are important to us!
Sundays @ 10am | Polish Community Centre, 4015 Fraser Street

Get Involved
Building meaningful relationships is essential for growing in faith. When we connect with others, we find support, encouragement, and a sense of belonging. We are also better able to navigate life's challenges and deepen our understanding of God's love. Here are some ways you can experience the joy and benefits of growing together.
Kids & Youth
We create a safe, welcoming space for children to meet Jesus and become rooted in the knowledge that we are known, loved, and valued. Just as a tree grows strong roots down into the earth to find nourishment, our kids and youth are nurtured so they can grow strong roots with God and one another in community. See below for more info on specific age groups. If you have any questions, please contact Melanie Haney.
Babies & Toddlers
If you have children under the age of 3, we invite you to utilize our Family Space where you can be together and still experience the service. The Family Space is located on the top level balcony of the Polish Community Centre, overlooking the main hall. It comes equipped with seats for parents, a room for play, and a room for quiet.
Worried about making noise or interrupting the service at times? Don’t worry, we love the sound of children.
Preschool
We offer a children’s program for kids ages 3 to grade 5 on the lower level of the Polish Community Centre. Our teachers engage with your kids, enjoy interactive playtime, and share biblical stories and truths that kids can understand and apply in their lives.
We love kids and want to model worship to them, so kids join us for worship with the adults and are then dismissed before the sermon for their program.

Youth
In our youth group everyone, no matter their background, can feel safe and welcome. On Sundays during the adult service, we hang out, eat snacks, and talk about Jesus! On Fridays, some of us join CREO Youth at our Mt Pleasant site, where we enjoy a larger group of friends, fun, and building our faith.
