Truly a Family
“This is truly a family!”
What a beautiful and exciting time it is to come together, sharing not just our work, but our life stories. Work has a profound way of bringing meaning and dignity to people. As I watch our room fill with busy hands, I feel deeply assured by God that there is great purpose when we gather, welcoming all His beautiful creation.
Last Saturday, the Lower East Hall was alive with joy—smiling faces, hard-working hands, and genuine care for one another. Whether it was caring for children, cooking a meal, organizing stock, or packing boxes, the atmosphere was filled with love and understanding. In that moment, I thought to myself, "This is truly a family." JustBags has become a space where newcomers, Tenth Church members, and volunteers meet in a place of belonging, dignity, and love, working and sharing life together.
Delicious food is important for any family as it is for the JustBag community.
