Play Again! Seniors' Connect and Fellowship
Details
Sometimes as we get older we forget how to play, or think that we are too old to play, but “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:1-3) God encourages us to become like children and what do children like to do? Play! So let's turn the clock back and play. And one of the best ways to play is through the arts.
The arts is something God has given us to create with Him, to worship Him and sometimes He uses the arts to bring healing. Want to have fun using different forms of creativity to get to know yourself better and perhaps let God speak to you in the process. We may do some drawings, have fun with colour, make some poetry, or make a collage, story-telling, have fun with movement.
If this sounds exciting to you, join us as we spend time come join us for our potluck and creative workshop November 28 at 1pm in the Lower East Hall.
This workshop is for those 55+ and no need to have previous art experience, the goal is to enjoy the process and play!
