Join us for a time of connection and creation!
Tenth East Van is hosting a women's social on April 19th at 10am in the Lower East Hall of Tenth Mt.Pleasant location. We hope this could be a time and space where we can meet, create something beautiful, serve our community, and share some baked goods together (hence "flour").
How does this serve our community you ask? At this social, we will make some beautiful floral arrangements (8-10) and prepare other flowers that will adorn the cross at Easter Sunday service. The floral arrangements you make will beautify the Easter Sunday service and can be yours to take home after service. If prepping flowers is not your thing, not a problem, come, enjoy some baked goods and connect with others in our community!
If you have your own gardening shears and gloves please do bring them. If not, some will be available. I will have coffee and some baked goods ready for us by 10am. If you are into baking, or have some favourite baked items to share with us, please contribute to the spread as you wish and please do label your food (i.e "gluten free", "egg free", "has nuts", etc). If flower is not your thing, no problem! Come and enjoy a time of connection with others in our community.
There won't be formal childcare at this event. I will set up a cozy corner with some toys and activities for free play.
